Which languages can I dictate in?

In more than 30 languages, including Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, English and German.

Does AiMED Dictate understand our medical terminology?

Yes. AiMED Dictate is tuned for Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian medical speech, including Latin terms and mixing languages within one sentence, plus English and German. It also takes care of grammar and punctuation.

What equipment do I need, and how long does setup take?

A web browser and a microphone are enough: a laptop, a computer or a phone. We install the browser extension together with you and set it up for your clinic’s system. Most doctors dictate on the first day.

What if I make a mistake while dictating?

No problem. You can pause and resume, and you read and edit every report before you sign it. The doctor always reviews and signs the report.

Does AiMED Dictate work offline?

No. Processing dictation needs an internet connection, and we process dictation in the EU.

Can I write straight into my clinic’s EHR?

Yes. The browser extension enters the text straight into the report field of your clinic’s EHR, with no copying from another window. We set the extension up with you for the system you use, and you can always download the report as a Word document too.

Can I use my own template?

Yes. You upload your own Word template or create templates by specialty, with sections, order and writing style instructions.

Does AiMED Dictate make a diagnosis?

No. AiMED Dictate is a documentation tool: it writes down what you dictate or say in the conversation and arranges it in the template. It does not make diagnoses and does not suggest therapy or doses. You review and sign every report.

Can I record the whole conversation with the patient?

Yes. AiMED separates your voice from the patient’s and turns the conversation into text in the template. The patient should know that the conversation is being recorded.

What happens to the dictation?

We process dictation in the EU and do not store it. The report stays in your system and is signed by the doctor.
