Many doctors write reports directly in the information system of their clinic or hospital. Dictation in another program then means an extra step: the text is copied from one window and pasted into another, field by field. AiMED Dictate skips that step: it enters the text straight into the report field of the system you already use.
How it works
AiMED Dictate has an extension for your web browser. When you open your clinic’s system in the browser, the extension recognizes it.
1. You click into the report field. A dictation button appears next to any field you can type in.
2. You dictate. The text is entered into that field, where you would otherwise type it.
3. You pause or finish. You can pause and resume dictation, and use keyboard shortcuts.
4. You review and sign. The text is in the field as if you had typed it. You review it, correct what needs correcting and finish the report in the system as usual.
The How it works page opens with an animated presentation of the path from dictation to a signed report.
Templates
If your institution uses report templates, the extension offers them during dictation. We set up templates by specialty together with you before you start.
Where the extension works
The extension works only on systems your institution has approved. On other pages it does nothing. To work, it needs an access token issued by AiMED, and without it it sends no data.
We set the extension up with you for the system your clinic uses. You can always download the report from AiMED Dictate as a Word document too.
Languages
You can dictate in more than 30 languages, including Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, English and German.
Data
We process dictation in the EU and do not store it. The report stays in your system and is signed by the doctor. AiMED Dictate is a documentation tool: it does not make diagnoses and does not suggest therapy or doses.
How to request a demo
Get in touch. We show you AiMED Dictate on a report from your specialty, then set up your template and install the extension together.
